About Non-Ferrous Metals

About Non-Ferrous Metals

Geometo sources and exports a focused range of non-ferrous scrap grades — copper, aluminium, brass, lead and zinc — from verified industrial, automotive and manufacturing suppliers across Asia and beyond. Non-ferrous metals are distinguished by their absence of iron, making them essential raw materials for electrical, automotive, construction and consumer electronics industries worldwide.

Every consignment is graded at source to international standards, with purity levels, HS codes and packaging confirmed per buyer specification. We supply copper smelters, aluminium die-casters, brass foundries and battery-recycling plants across our active buyer markets in India, Spain, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea.

Stainless Steel

SS 304 · SS 310 · SS 316 · SS 15-5 PH & 17-5 PH

Stainless steel scrap traded across all major alloy grades — SS 304 (austenitic, general-purpose industrial scrap), SS 310 (high-temperature heat-resistant grade), SS 316 (marine and food-grade with molybdenum content) and SS 15-5 PH & 17-5 PH (precipitation-hardened aerospace and engineering grades). Sourced from fabrication offcuts, process equipment decommissions and manufacturing rejects. Nickel and chrome content disclosed per shipment. Supplied as solids, clips, turnings or mixed lots. Preferred feed for EAF stainless steel mills. HS Code: 7204.21.

Copper

ICW · Millberry · Birch Cliff · Berry · Barley

Copper scrap sourced and exported across all internationally traded grades — ICW (insulated copper wire, recovery basis), Millberry (bare bright wire, Cu ≥ 99.9%, minimum 1.6 mm diameter, no tinning or coating), Birch Cliff (clean uncoated copper wire with minor tinning permitted, Cu ≥ 97%), Berry (mixed copper wire and cable with insulation, priced on recovery percentage) and Barley (mixed unalloyed copper solids and heavy copper scrap). All grades free of excessive insulation, tar or non-metallic contamination. HS Code: 7404.00.

Brass

Honey · Ocean

Brass scrap traded in two primary market grades — Honey (clean yellow brass solids, Cu ~65%, Zn ~35%, sourced from plumbing fittings, valves and hardware; free of iron, steel and painted pieces) and Ocean (mixed brass and bronze scrap including red brass, semi-red brass and naval brass components, Cu 70–85%, from industrial and marine applications). Both grades sorted, inspected and baled to buyer specification. Suitable for brass foundries, rod mills and secondary copper smelters. HS Code: 7404.00.

Aluminium

Radiators · Wheels · UBC · Tread · Tense · Talk · Taint Tabor · ACSR · Twang

Aluminium scrap traded across the full ISRI grade range — Radiators (clean auto radiators, aluminium/copper core), Wheels (clean cast aluminium alloy wheels), UBC (used beverage cans, baled), Tread (clean aluminium extrusions, free of paint and attachments), Tense (new aluminium wire and cable scrap), Talk (clean mixed old sheet and castings), Taint Tabor (mixed low-copper aluminium scrap), ACSR (aluminium conductor steel-reinforced cable) and Twang (aluminium wire scrap from electrical applications). Supplied loose, baled or shredded per buyer specification. HS Code: 7602.00.

Lead

Battery Scrap · Remelted Ingots · Rinks

Lead scrap and secondary lead material traded in three key forms — Battery Scrap (drained and dried whole lead-acid batteries from automotive and industrial use, Pb ≥ 95%), Remelted Ingots (secondary lead ingots produced from battery scrap, high purity, suitable for direct use by battery plate and lead oxide manufacturers) and Rinks (clean soft lead scrap including cable sheathing, sheet lead and pipe, Pb ≥ 99%). All movements fully comply with Basel Convention requirements — export permits, prior informed consent and receiving-country certifications arranged per shipment. HS Code: 7802.00.

Zinc

Zinc Die Cast · Zinc Dross

Zinc scrap traded in two primary forms — Zinc Die Cast (clean zinc die-cast scrap from automotive components, hardware and consumer goods; typical Zn ≥ 94%, free of aluminium-heavy alloy contamination) and Zinc Dross (zinc dross and ash arising from hot-dip galvanising operations; zinc content 60–85% depending on dross type). Both forms reprocessed by secondary zinc smelters for new zinc alloy production, zinc oxide compounds and galvanising applications. Pre-shipment zinc content analysis available. HS Code: 7902.00.

Zurik

Stainless Steel Shredder Mix

Zurik is a premium non-ferrous shredder residue fraction rich in stainless steel, nickel alloys and other high-value metals recovered from auto shredder output via eddy-current and density separation. Nickel content typically 2–8% depending on source lot and processing method. Valued feed for stainless steel EAF furnaces and specialty alloy producers. XRF composition analysis and weight certification provided with every lot. Supplied in bulk FCL or break-bulk shipments. HS Code: 7204.29.

Zorba

Mixed Non-Ferrous Shredder Output

Zorba is the mixed non-ferrous fraction separated from automobile shredder output, comprising aluminium, copper, brass, zinc, lead, magnesium and stainless steel in bulk. Traded on estimated composition with XRF or sink-float analysis conducted at source. One of the highest-volume globally traded non-ferrous scrap commodities — widely sourced and consumed by secondary smelters and processors across India, Spain, South Korea, Malaysia and Turkey. Supplied in FCL or bulk shipments to buyer specification. HS Code: 7602.00.
